Student and Graduate Activities

The furthering of interested students and graduates of History of Islamic Art and Archaeology is among the main aims of the Ernst Herzfeld Society. The Society offers regular student and graduate meetings, usually connected to the annual colloquia. The participants are international, they present and discuss on-going projects such as master and PhD theses, and they meet with and connect to fellow students from other universities and countries.
Students and graduates are represented by an own member in the Board of the Society, presently Sarah Johnson MA, sarah.cresap.johnson@gmail.com.
