The Ernst Herzfeld Society is a registered association according to German law. The Society is a non-profit organization. It aims at furthering research in history of Islamic art and archaeology, offering a fore for scholarly exchange and discussion, and building international cooperation and exchange between deisciplines of Islamic art and archaeology and related disciplines.
